With Feathers combines photographs with printed text: the text functions as a diary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, while images of birds stand in for the narrator’s emotional state. Begun in Kyiv in 2022 as a search for tenderness in decorative birds, the series shifted toward the horror of captivity, exile, and loneliness. First written from the position of a Ukrainian artist raised in Russia and returned to her homeland, the project continues through photographs made in three countries, reflecting the condition of living effectively without citizenship.

Seasons LA – 24 February 2026
Seasons is an artist-run contemporary photography gallery founded in 2024 in Los Angeles, California. The gallery is currently located in Chinatown at 422 Ord St (2nd Floor), alongside The Fulcrum Press, Gene’s Dispensary, and Leroy’s Happy Place.
